About Me

Cayla Shae O’Neil is an actor, dancer, singer and recent graduate with a BFA in Music Theatre. From dancing to singing, from acting to exploring stunt work, this performer’s personality and artistry explodes when on stage or in front of the camera!

She started as a Commercial Dance major and was a part of many stage performances, both plays and dance pieces—Femme Fatale, a story of women’s dance through the ages; Sanity in Disarray, a play surrounding mental health told through thematic dance elements; Big Love, a tale where she played Bella, the Italian grandmother. When she switched to Music Theatre, she discovered more behind-the-scene roles, including producing/choreographing being an ensemble member of Hair: The Musical. Throughout college, she also discovered an interest in teaching when she visited and subbed at her home studio, Center for Dance Education, in Clark, New Jersey. From there, she became a Lead Dance Teacher with Performing Arts Workshop—a musical theatre camp for children based in California. For the ages of 5-14, she choreographed and taught productions of Hamilton, Barbie, Encanto, Alice in Wonderland, Wicked, and more!

In her free time, she enjoys discovering herself as not just a performer, but a person. She enjoys cooking, puzzles, listening to Chakra healing frequencies and ambience sounds. Her cat, Kiri, keeps her endlessly entertained and enjoys waking Cayla up in the morning.
